Jessica Jones is a Soul Singer with roots in Jazz, Funk, Blues, R&B, Rock and Hip-Hop. She has quickly built a name for herself as a poignant improvisational singer keeping audiences on their toes with off the cuff lyrics and soulful, wailing vocals. Compared to Susan Tedeschi, Joss Stone and Janis Joplin, she has a unique and bold, sultry yet vibrant style that carries into any genre.
Jessica has shared the stage with inspirational artists in many scenes including Bernie Worrell (Parlaiment-Funkadelic, Talking Heads,) George Porter Jr., The Stepkids, Abstract Rude, Cecil P-Nut Daniels, Jerry Joseph, members of Prince, Ghost Note, The Nth Power, the Motet, Lettuce, Lotus, Vulfpeck, Thievery Corporation, Snarky Puppy, Turkuaz, the Disco Biscuits, Yes, Asia, Hieroglyphics, Souls of Mischief, and is currently part of 20+ musical projects.
Jessica has opened shows for Lil Wayne and The Wailers, played Red Rocks Ampitheater, The Fillmore Auditorium, and most of the large theaters and venues in Colorado. She also sang at the Sonic Bloom, Arise, and Denver’s 420 Festivals, and has traveled all over the country to preform.
Jessica has done studio work with Galactic, Mr. Lif, Strange Music, Jeff Gitleman (H.E.R., Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder), plus many groups in Denver, New Orleans, New York, and Seattle.
